Columbia Nephrology is the largest most comprehensive nephrology group in South Carolina. We have 21 physicians, 9 advanced practitioners and 5 offices located throughout the Midlands. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for our Lexington Office locations. Columbia Nephrology Associates Laboratory  has met all the criteria for Laboratory Accreditation by COLA Inc., a leading national laboratory accreditor, whose program and standards enable clinical laboratories and staff to meet U.S. CLIA and other regulatory requirements.

Through a mentoring approach using education to improve quality and patient safety, accreditation is given to laboratories that apply the highest standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing, and pass a rigorous on-site laboratory survey. Columbia Nephrology Associates Laboratory has earned COLA Inc. accreditation to provide quality service to its patients.

If you have a scheduled appointment at Columbia Nephrology, please plan to keep this appointment unless you or any person accompanying you to your appointment are experiencing symptoms like fever, cough, congestion, or shortness of breath. You and any person accompanying you to your appointment must be fever free without fever reducing medications for at least 24 hours before coming to your appointment.

  • Please avoid bringing family members and children to your scheduled appointment. Family members will be asked to wait in the car. If you require a caregiver for assistance, we request only one accompany each patient.
